Cornelius is a Venezuelan - American sculptor currently based out of the Baltimore area. Born from immigrant parents his work has developed much like his life - multi-cultural and multi-faceted. He explores many different materials and themes in order to prompt conversation with viewers on any number of topics from political unrest, human rights, the loss of family and history, or childhood games. Through his work he hopes to encourage people to bridge the gap between who they once wanted to be and what society and life have led them to become.
